Honey Girl Organics Facial Creams

Love the Honey Girl Organics 😍

I am not going to be one of those people who tells you your genetics don't matter when it comes to skincare. In skincare as with how fast your hair grows/how easy it is to retain hair. I feel genetics plays a part. If someone is genetically prone to acne prone, blemished skin --this person will have to do more than someone who is not prone to acne to maintain clear skin. Thankfully, through effort on our own part (diet, skincare, supplementation, effectively dealing with stress) we are able to counter what our genetics might make us prone to.

*Steps off soap box*, like you might have guessed I am pretty interested in skincare and making sure my best skin shines through. I use two facial creams from Honey Girl Organics to help achieve this, these products leave my skin extremely moisturized and radiant. . Not only is what you put inside your body important, but what you put on your body is just as important, everything you put on your skin will be absorbed into your body. I love the honey girl organics products because they are clean, organic, and simple.

The first product is their Face & Eye Crème Extra Sensitive...

So my skin isn't sensitive, in fact it is extra tough, so tough it takes pimples long to form and they leave their battle scars long after… depending on the location a raised scar :( (but that is another story for another day).

FYI: I have combination skin—parts are drier (around my cheeks), and the rest is pretty normal, I am not really an ‘oily girl’ but I do get a bit shiny on my forehead and nose like many people do in their t-zone.

I have tried the regular cream, but I love how the extra sensitive creme goes on and how it leaves my skin feeling hydrated and smooth—I feel it makes my makeup go on smoother as well. The main difference between the regular and extra sensitive is the presence of essential oils.

The ingredients are as follows: Purified Water, Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Organic Beeswax Organic Wilelaiki (Christmas Berry) Honey, (naturally occurring pollen & propolis in the organic beeswax and royal jelly in the raw organic honey),Vitamin E Oil (Tocobiol liquid)

www.honeygirlorganics.com says the following about its ingredients: "Honey is an antibiotic, antioxidant, antiviral & humectant. It stimulates collagen helping with cell regeneration and reduction of fine lines and wrinkles. Royal Jelly in the honey contains an amazing blend of proteins, vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Beeswax is nutrient rich with over 300 micronutrients that help soften and hydrate the skin and creating a protective coating against the elements. It will not clog pores, as it is a porous organic substance. Beeswax contains both propolis and bee pollen known for their incredible health benefits. Organic olive oil is the most compatible oil to human skin. It contains vitamin A & E"

The next product I love from them is their Night Crème...

For this one I like the regular version though they have an extra sensitive night cream—for night time I like something extra heavy for my skin. They actually recommend this product for people with oily skin as day cream.

The ingredients are as follows: Water, Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Organic Beeswax Organic, Organic Rose Fragrance, Wilelaiki (Christmas Berry) Honey, (naturally occurring  pollen & propolis in the organic beeswax and royal jelly in the raw organic honey), Vitamin E Oil (Tocobiol liquid), Organic Lemon Oil (Citrus limon), Organic Geranium Oil (Pelargonium graveolens). As you can see the ingredients are very similar to the day cream with the addition of rose fragrance,
Organic Lemon Oil- which is great for lightening dark spots, to even skin tone
Organic Geranium Oil- which is used for treating acne and reducing inflammation (in addition to these properties, both of these essential oils smell great).

These products range between $28.00 and $33.00 depending where you get it—so it is not necessarily cheap, but trust me a little goes a long way. With these creams I like to spray a little water on my face or spray Rose Petals, Rosewater by Heritage Store  (I think the best price on this product will be in stores, at a natural food store, I've even seen it at Publix) on my face and then apply the cream-it is like a double dose of moisture. You can find the regular night creme here , the extra sensitive face and eye creme here and the regular face and eye creme here all on Amazon. If you just wanted to try one of these products, I would try the night crème first -it can be used day and night and mixed with water for thinner application.

Honey Girl Organics has tons of products and I look forward to purchasing more to try and share with you.

Thanks for reading and God Bless.
